Computer Cleaning 101

Computers are expensive, especially if it’s brand new, that is the very reason why we want to maintain its performance from the hardware to the software. One of the basic things that a computer owner does is to clean it but the question is, is it the proper way? Are you doing your computer a favor or are you making it prone to damages and makes its life shorter. And that would be the last thing you want to happen right? It is better to know the right and proper way of cleaning rather than buying another set of this machine because the parts were ruin because you just want to clean it.

First and foremost you have to bear in mind that cleaning your computer and bonding time with your kid should not be mix. Computer maintenance should be done by adults without the interference of any child, your child’s eagerness may result to serious damages in your computer.

Clean the interior part of your computer rather than focusing on the outside part. Cleaning this may be dangerous because of the small parts in you CPU. A vacuum will be the best tool to use in cleaning small parts and sensitive parts of your computer. Do not attempt to use damp cloth to wipe this area of the computer, instead use a soft bristled brush. Do not directly spray liquid cleaner on parts of your computer as well. You can use clean cloth in the outer part of your computer. It is also important to dust off your computer’s monitor, keyboard and CPU casing to minimize dust which may enter into the inner parts.

Not all computers are all the same, in parts and the way how it would be clean. It is best to read the instructions on how to maintain your computer. Ask as well a professional technician the proper way to clean your computer.

It is a wise thing to invest in a good computer that will help you in performing your daily task especially at work. Good computers are not cheap, maintaining is the key to make it last for a long time. Cleaning your computer need not to be hard, all you have to do is to be careful and to understand that this machine is made up of small tiny parts which can be easily damaged if not handled with care. If your computer has some damaged do not attempt to repair it all by yourself, unless you are a professional computer technician.
